Previously

Grew up in an old part of Shanghai (小南门) that's mostly been torn down for redevelopment
Moved to the suburbs of LA when I was 8
Tutored people all throughout my teens — genuinely loved it and found it really fulfilling
Built my university's first hackathon with friends — 500 ppl participated and had a ton of fun
Started my career in consulting (snuck into a career fair to get the job)
